It has been over a month since the Miami Dolphins entered their locker room after a game as winners. The team record stands at 3-3 and now they must face the Tom Brady led New England Patriots who are coming off a loss to the New York Jets, will be looking to right that ship.
The Dolphins hope to protect QB Ryan Tannehill better this weekend. Tannehill has been sacked 26 times and has turned the ball over 11 to 9 touchdowns. Most recently, Sunday’s loss where he threw into double coverage.
“I shouldn’t have been going there with the ball to begin with, and I realized that in my throwing motion,” Tannehill explained Wednesday. “I tried to squeeze it to pull it back down. It fluttered and went straight to him. It was the ultimate bad play.”
The Patriots are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the New York Jets and fans should expect a shootout this week.
