It wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win and in the NFL every one counts. To give an example of how lucky the Fins were, they produced a meager 192 total yards against the Seahawks 462 total yards. Miami rookie QB Ryan Tannehill went 21 for 29 for 185 yards, two touchdowns and zero turnovers while the Seahawks Sam Bradford who went 26-39 for 315 yards.
The Miami defense may be in for a hard couple of weeks as the team has thinned even more at the CB with star Richard Marshall still questionable for their next game against the Colts in two weeks. With the bye, hopefully some of the CB’s will be able to get back on the field. The team promoted De’Andre Presley from the practice squad and have been working RJ Stanford into the system. Stanford last played for the Panthers but is making the best of his stiuation.
“He (Stanford) has been diligent assignment wise, scheme wise. I think he has made a good contribution so far,” Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said. “Obviously he doesn’t have a lot of reps in the games but I think he’s making progress, picking up the scheme, understanding what we’re asking in the job requirements of the position. I like his development.”
The Dolphins will be on the road and next face the NY Jets (3-3) on Oct. 28. Be sure to get your tickets to the next home game, Sunday November 11th against the Tennessee Titans.
